With Halloween this week i was looking for some cool ways to decorate the patio and when i came across these awesome halloween jar votives i knew i’d come up with a winner, upcycling bliss! I loaded the kids up with some paint (acrylic, non toxic) and let them loose on their own designs. Ours are still very much a work in progress but here’s a couple of images to give you some inspiration!
The one thing i did differently was instead of using wax tealights i switched these out for some of our very own hanging LED’s. I used sticky tape to fix these to the underside of the lids and then it’s a case of simply removing the lid, switch on and then replace the lids. We even used an RGB led on our white Casper style ghost so that it changes colors.
