Floating Water Lanterns at Sony Launch

Our floating water lanterns have been a core part of the Birando range since the beginning and popular with a wide range of people looking for an stylish way to decorate their event.

Floating Water LanternsUsing the included wax tea-lights they make great floating luminaries on the water as well as casual ambient lights when used as table centerpiece lighting.

Birando customers tend to be a creative lot so it’s always fun to receive photo’s and feedback that we are sure will help inspire other people with their celebrations.

We recently received an email from a PR firm that had used our floating lanterns at a product launch for Sony. They went one step further than using the included candles and ordered our colour changing water proof LED’s that they used in place of the traditional wax candle. As the lanterns gently drifted around the pool the led colours cycled through red, green, blue, purple and more. At any one time the pond was a multicolor extravaganza which worked in well with the high tech mobile media product being promoted.

Using these products in this unique way had a range of benefits that we are sure will appeal to others. Our range of Waterproof LED submersibles have long-life batteries that last more than 40 hours and allowed the installation to be set-up well ahead of time. Using an LED also removes a flamed candle from the equation which is a handy side benefit and a worthy consideration should you have young children.

The LED’s have replaceable batteries which was handy for this nationwide multi date launch but this would also be perfect for home users that want an inexpensive way to add some magic to their outdoor setting on a regular basis

You can check out our range of floating water lantern products and waterproof LEDs on our main website.
